Dr. Umayr Azimi

Medical Director of MI Express Care

Umayr Azimi, MD is an internist with medical expertise in acute care/hospital medicine, urgent care/occupational medicine, ambulatory/primary care medicine, and obesity medicine. He is double-board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Azimi was born and raised in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, and did his residency training with Michigan State University at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has performed further obesity training through the Columbia/Cornell Obesity Medicine training program and regularly attends conferences to ensure he remains up-to-date on the latest medical advances to provide his patients with the most up to date care.

He is passionate about health and promoting healthy living with his patients, offering various services such as general primary care, urgent care, wellness services such as IV Infusions and Medical Weight Loss including obesity management, nutritional support and injectable medications.

Elizabeta Crkovski

MSN, FNP-C

Elizabeta Crkovski is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in Women’s Health and Neonatal Care. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. She also teaches Labor & Delivery at Ascension St. John Hospital as an Adjunct Clinical Professor for Chamberlain College of Nursing. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading. Elizabeta’s emphasis is on optimal health care maintenance and illness prevention.

Dirina Kodra

Medical Assistant

Dirina Kodra is a certified medical assistant here at MI Express Primary and Urgent Care. She is passionate about her job and the care that patients receive at the clinic. Dirina is originally from Albania, but grew up in New York City. She is bilingual and is driven by her curiosity and ambition to learn more as she continues her path in her medical career. Her main goal at our clinic is to make sure that patients are satisfied with their needs and that their standards of receiving care are met.

Ms. Sarah Azimi

Office Manager

Sarah grew up in the Ann Arbor area and has her bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has a multitude of various roles in the healthcare space dating back to 2000. She currently serves as the office manager for MI Express Primary and Urgent Care.

Troy Brown

LPN

Troy has been with MI Express Care since 2016. He grew up in Detroit and Cares deeply about the local community. He initially started as a medical assistant and while working earned his degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. He is the lead for the support staff and takes great care in handling all aspects of the patient care experience.
